Sprained ankle and foot
After severe ankle sprain my bruising and swelling is almost gone but mild pain occurs whenever I walk which is bearable , so my question is shall I continue walking while in mild pain or I shouldnt take risk? r there chances of swelling to reoccur or pain to get worst if I walk ?

It depends on how much time has gone by after the injury You can start slow walking after 6 weeks of ankle sprain to brisk walking after 3 months of injury You should avoid jogging or running for some time till you are completely painless However a little bit of swelling keeps occurring but if it is not painful you can continue walking just sleep with your foot on a pillow for a few months Hope you used ankle brace or some type of bandage for the first few weeks of injury
