Spotting for a while now
I have been spotting for the past two weeks now. it’s nothing super heavy but heavy enough that i have to wear a pad. i’m on birth control. i wasn’t consistent with when i was taking it the first week this past month, like i would take it at different times of the day because i was so busy. and i missed one pill but took them both the next day. i’m supposed to get my period this week and i’ve still been spotting so i’m just wondering what could be causing this. i’m in no pain.

You may want to reconsider the long term use of bc pills. They are synthetic hormones and have their own side effects. You can read my blog on bc pills and decide for yourself.
Next Steps
It's not normal to have irregular periods  ( early or late), missing periods, spotting between periods, prolonged heavy flow, pains and cramps during cycle, PMS and mood changes before periods, PCOS, Fibroid, Endometriosis,  fertility issues, tiredness, hair fall,  sleep disturbances, weight issues etc. If it is happening to you,  it's a sign of underlying  hormone  imbalance  which needs further evaluation with blood investigations , scan etc.Good news is that all your problems  can be totally  reversed , not by masking the symptoms  with pills but by addressing  the underlying  cause of the problem and healing it from the ROOT cause which is not in your pelvis BTW. Hope it helps.....

This irregular spotting s because of your irregular pill consumption habits or poor compliance... Stop this pack now itself and let your periods happen after that restart a new pack in a proper way
