Spine Tuberculosis swelling
I am 25 years old and I am suffering from spine tuberculosis. Since 6months I am on tb medication. After first 3 months, on repeat mri, it was found that there is 1-2 mm of growth in spine. So, I have undergone biopsy where it was tb culture result was negative (probably due to medicine that I was taking). Also it was not rifampicin resistance. After this doctor have increased dosage for akt4 and my crp level got down from 46 to 27. Also my weight got increased. And after two months, on repeat mri it was found that disease has not increased. So doctor asked to continue with the regime. My question is that even after 6months, I get back pain when I try to walk for some time. There is a kind of swelling like pain in paravertebral region. I do have kyphosis due to vetebral collapse. So is this pain due to tuberculosis or wedge compression? How much time it takes to get complete recovery from back pain?

Pain can be from both problems. If kyphosis is significant better go for surgery If not the back pain will go by now
