Spinal L1 fracture
I HAVE UNDERGONE L1 FRACTURE ON SECOND WEEK OF JANUARY... Initially doctor gave me physiotherapy and limited walking from fourth or fifth day of my fracture with brace... Now I am walking with LS belt.. During walking I hardly feel any pain... Doctor told me that it is healing... But often I feel pain in my lower back ( in L4-L5 region... Which sometimes travels to hips, lower abdomen in waist line area and illiac crest area...i am a marketing professional... My job covers extensive travelling... I wnt to know whether I will be fully fit again like earlier, still when pain will continue... Can I drive car, can I ride  bike?? I am not able to bend forward...will this cause any big problem in future... Plz help me. Attached is my CT scan film.

This treatment is being suggested on bases of the information provided. However I would like to examine & investigate you  in detail. -Control  Hypertension, Diabetes or  metabolic disorder, if there is any. -Any way it may be tried, --. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days. --. Caldikind plus  (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days. -(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.) --. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold. --. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding. --. Use no pillow under the head. --. The treatment given so far is satisfactory as per the CT scan that you have posted. However your questions can be answered only after reviewing the healing of your fracture for which you need to send across recent CT/MRI.

Nothing to worry about your fracture. It looks it will heal completely with conservative treatment. Please send a recent Xray You can do all your previous activities once it is healed.

This would heal without surgery. Would like to see your latest x rays. I would give a customized Taylor's brace.
