Speech delay
My son is 3.3 years old.He has speech delay .He follows instructions and quick learner.but when it comes to speaking he doesnt talk.I was taking him for speech therapy but due to covid i have stopped. He can say few words but that to after much probing and asking him otherwise he points at things and get his need fulfilled.

Hi ! This is a common problem nowadays. Ur son is suffering from ASD (Autistic spectrum of disorders) . 1. It is a positive sign he is following commands . 2. No behavior problems associated like hyperactivity 3.Mainstay of treatment is speech therapy but it may take 6months to 1yr to see marked improvement 4. Can send him to play school that will have a positive effect 5. Strictly don't give mobile to him , try to make him stay away from television 6.Spend time with the child as much as possible 7. Few drugs may help 8. May do neuroimaging , thyroid profile
