Speech delay
My kid is 5 years old. She is taking speech Therapy. There is improvement but she talks in sentences only at times. Otherwise she talks in words. Can we give oral massage for her to improve speech. Also if we teach her sentences, she often says I won't talk. Our neighbor kid is 4. She talks a lot compared to my kid. I asked cycle for my kid to play. She said I can't give her cycle. If she needs, she must come and play in my house. How to train my kid to talk like her. Should we teach her each and everything? At present we are in native and not able to continue therapy. Pls suggest some tips

Hello, please continue to engage in regular conversations with your child. Consider reading books and rhymes to her every day if possible. It's important to minimize screen time as much as possible. Thank you

Your child needs speech therapy that’s why you were taking it; which means she will need support to come to normalcy. Please do not compare with other kids and let ur child have her own pace. If u will rush in teaching her it will get worse. Consult speech therapist online and do as advised by them

Every child is different and has different time of learning things. As the environment and factors around the child are different. Living with more people tend to help with speech. If you are unable to continue speech therapy. Kindly do it home. The more you talk to your child the more she will pick up. You can tell her stories, take help of audio clips or pictures to teach her different things. She will take some time but will pick soon. Try to convince her to talk to other children which will help us learn more. And as soon as you can start her speech therapy again. Stay calm and eventually she will learn everything

Don't ask her to learn sentences. Keep talking to her; read books to her, show pictures, sing catchy rhyme songs, ask open ended questions
