Hello, If possible kindly post your own throat picture as what may seem similar to you in Google's picture may be very different in actual pathology. Besides that, if indeed the problem is similar, this is indicative of acute pharyngitis or acute infection of the back of the throat and side walls. Trigger may have been viral or bacterial. Warm saline gargling multiple times a day and avoiding cold food items are good supportive measures. Steam inhalation should also be beneficial if associated nose congestion or blockage is there. These times, get a COVID screening done A physical consultation is important for further management.
