Sore throat
My son has a really sore throat with swollen tonsils and cannot swallow. He has been sleeping a lot and would like to know if it could be tonsilitus

He seems to be suffering from acute tonsillitis which is common type of throat infection in children. You may need to give him antibiotics and painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days for faster recovery
