Sore throat
My 3 yrs old nephew have bad cold he has a sore throat with dry cough since last week, he has been given antibiotics and cough syrup nothing is making his throat back to normal he is losing his voice further cause of soreness in the throat.

Hi thanks for writing to Practo consult. Voice rest, So less talking and less shouting and crying. Give 1 cup of lukewarm water every hour to sooth throat. Also all good should be lukewarm. If baby has no fever, this should work fine for Voice. For the cough-- Any cough lasting for more than 1 week in kids require proper follow up for evaluation and treatment..
