I have a sore throat, not able to talk at all. It started yesterday. I have travelled recently to cold temperature country. Can you suggest something other than antibiotics?

Hi, for sore throat you can do salt water gargling with mild hot water, avoid drinking outside water and foods. Yo can take some antihistamines to reduce irritation. If irritation is severe it is better to take antibiotics. If it is not properly treated you may get fever, bodyache, nausea, vomiting. Kindly consult general physcian for furthur evaluation and treatment.
