Homemade food is always better to start with and preferably one at a time.
After 6 months of age apart from breastfeeding
You have to start complementary feeding.
Start with fruit purees, mashed vegetables, semisolid foods like daal, khichdi daliya, halwa. Give 2-3 feeds per day, approx half katori (6 spoons per meal). Please avoid sugar, salt and spices.Start new food in day time so that if any allergies you can react apppropriately. Please watch this video for more details
