Recently my father had a drop in sodium levels nd stayed in drowsy state for more than 24 hours. After being treated in hospital, his memory is faded away. We are not sure if his memory gets back.
Please suggest how to proceed

Hypernatremia is common in old persons it is corrected slowly otherwise it might give rise to porntime myelinolysis
You have to have the patience and I consider most of the doctors are treating it well
