Snoring a lot
Hi, My Dad had dialysis done thrice in 2013 due to increase in creatine levels n high blood pressure. He is under medication for the same reason. However, He snors alot n sometimes stops Breathing while snoring. How to stop this? Please respond

1) life style modifications...(eating healthy,weight reduction,avoiding alcohol before bed,avoid any use of sedatives) 2) try avoid sleeping supine..ask him to sleep on lateral .. 3) there are many oral appliances available in market..which can be used during sleep that will keep tongue not to fall back.. 4) you can also go for continuous positive pressure ventilation at home.. 5) many surgeries also available for this.. Correcting snoring problem will help him control his bp and other health ailments too..
