Primarily the evaluation has to be done by an orthodontist. Patient may need only surgery or orthodontic treatment along with surgery. This has to be decided only by the orthodontist. The surgery is fairly simple and straightforward. It take about two hours and it’s done under GA. Recovery is normally a week with liquid food and medication.
