Small light brown colour patch on back
Everytime I google I end up to cancer. I don't have any pain, itchyness or bump / hardness in that area it is flat skin discoloration. Size is 5-6 mm I am worried. It's been there from last year size is not increased or decreased. Nor it is bleeding or any liquid coming out -NO. I always end up health anxiety. Sharing photos please help. Left side blister was because of tick bite. I am not concerned about that but the brown colour diamond shaped thing.

The only thing I would say, is that there are some ‘satellite lesions’ around the diamond shape one. Must have biopsy. All the best. www.jgsr-health-education.in

From your description: • Flat brown discoloration • 5–6 mm size • Present for 1 year • No increase in size • No bleeding • No itching • No discharge • No hardness This pattern is much more consistent with a benign pigmented lesion (like a mole or post-inflammatory pigmentation) rather than skin cancer. When we assess skin lesions, we use the ABCDE rule: • A – Asymmetry • B – Border irregular • C – Color variation (multiple colors) • D – Diameter >6 mm • E – Evolving (changing over time) You mentioned: ✔ Size stable for 1 year ✔ No bleeding ✔ No change ✔ No symptoms The most important factor for concern is change over time. Stable for 1 year is reassuring. Also, skin cancer at age 32 without risk factors is uncommon. Your main issue here appears to be health anxiety triggered by Google search, not a dangerous lesion.
Next Steps
For objective reassurance: ✔ Take a clear photograph today ✔ Compare after 3 months ✔ If no change → very reassuring See a dermatologist only if: • Rapid size increase • Irregular spreading border • Multiple color shades (black, blue, red mix) • Bleeding without injury • It becomes raised suddenly If anxiety continues despite stable lesion: ✔ Consider addressing health anxiety separately ✔ Avoid repeated Google searches ✔ Limit checking behavior Repeated self-checking increases anxiety loop.
Health Tips
✔ Do not repeatedly examine the lesion daily ✔ Avoid Googling symptoms ✔ Understand that stable flat pigmentation is common ✔ Protect skin from sun ✔ Manage stress triggers Important truth: Cancer lesions evolve. They do not remain unchanged for a year. Your description strongly favors a benign lesion. If you want, you can describe: • Exact location • Whether borders are sharp or blurred • Skin type I can analyze it more clinically. If health anxiety is becoming frequent and affecting your peace of mind, booking an online consultation will help address both the lesion assessment and the anxiety cycle in a structured way.

Based on your detailed history this is very unlikely to be cancer. Skin cancers typically: Increase in size progressively Have irregular borders Show color variation (black/blue/red mix) Bleed, ulcerate, or crust Change over time A lesion that has remained stable for one year without change is usually benign.
Next Steps
No urgent concern Observe for changes Clinical dermatoscopic exam if anxiety persists
Health Tips
Consult a dermatologist if you are anxious. But no need to worry in my opinion.
