The intestine environment is not helping the normal growth of microbes helpful in digestion, hence the compromised condition is a good area for other non-essential Bacterial growth. Reducing acidic content in the diet should help with help of other herbal mixes and definitely warm food and drinks always to reduce sensitivity to food.
Next Steps
Good diet and herbal teas with good exercises (specific to the gut) should help
