Slow growth of embryo

Asked for Male, 32 Years

My 8w 4days scan showed the fetus to be 6 weeks with flickering cardiac activity on 28th April . My previous scan on 10th April had it at 4 weeks 4 days. I have checked my ovulation and dates from my lmp is not that much deviated. I probably conceived on 17th March. My hcg on 28th April was 33000. Can you please advice. Is there any chance the baby will survive.

Actually you can do nothing for the growth of the baby at present. You should do ultrasound examination every 4 weeks for 2 months. Then we will have 4 ultrasound reports. Based on that we will calculate how big is your pregnancy and what should be considered as your LMP for calculating further growth of the baby.
