Slight Diplopia after sixth nerve palsy?
Good evening doctor's My dad Age 57 had sixth nerve palsy before 11 months coz of this he had diplopia, from month 3 he started noticing Improvement in double vision after month 6 he started driving two wheeler's with almost 90 to 95 percent recovery,But the issue is still that 5 to 10 percent diplopia/double vision is not yet recovered it's almost 11 months.He is wearing eye glasses and his sugar levels are normal but whether we can wait or what is the next treatment for remaining double vision issue.He is still having diplopia in far end of right eye and all other gazes it's single vision and he's able to drive vehicles please reply🙏🙏

It will recover on its own by putting blood glucose levels normal.

I think ,he is doing pretty well if he is able to drive also .. Treqtment will only be supportive as in supplements and physiotherapy only .. You have to ignore it ,and over period of time , will get adjusted .. As  in primary gaze,  there is no diplopia ..dont think prism also will be needed
