Sixth nerve palsy!!
Respected doctor's My dad is having double vision since last 9 months because of sixth nerve palsy due to inflammation of nerve,now his eyes are aligned correctly but double vision is still there on far peripheral vision of infected right eye So how long it will take for full recovery from diplopia Now diplopia is very minimal on peripheral region Please reply

As there is no diplopia in the straight ahead position ,you don't require any treatment for diplopia.The time taken recover from diplopia depends so many factors.Usually majority recover with in 6 months.Peripheral diplopia is quite ok to be left alone and may gradually recover.

Do exercise of eyes in all directions Take lot of green vegetables and fruits, green salad and almonds
