Sleeps with mouth open
My son had his mastoidectomy surgery at Fortis last year. Has recovered well but has been sleeping with his mouth open for a long time now. His voice is also nasal and seems that he has a nasal blockage. He has been avoiding water since he was diagnosed with ear problem. Please advise medicine to remove nasal blockage slowly and gradually. Thanks Saurabh Aggarwal

Mouth breathing and nasal discharge is suggestive of nasal pathology. It could be due to adenoids. A proper x ray or a CT scan can tell if it is present. It could have been the cause for his ear infection also.. Please consult a ENT specialist for examination and diagnosis
