Sleeplessness
From 1 month facing health issues like infections pain which got treated by high dose of antibiotics..after that I started the problem of sleeplessness.. so my family doctor prescribed me alprax 0.25 MG for 3 days I had that time I slept nicely but after 3 days yesterday as I didn't take tablet again I couldn't sleep...I have mild anxiety which build up due to health issues...please help me how to sleep well...

Hi there, A detailed medical and psychiatric history is always needed and so is mental status examination for every case. Medical illnesses like few days fever can have short term sleep problems and some of drugs may also have effects affecting the sleep. “Sleep hygiene “ may help in your case. Take a healthy diet. Take dinner about 2 hours before the bed time. Sleep with minimal noises and light around Don’t drink tea or coffee in the late evening. Go for relaxation exercises like Yoga relaxation. Be positive in your thoughts. You will be found a better out come If not Di take the advice of a mental health professional.

Hello, You can take non habit forming Anxiolytic medicine for sometime along with sleep hygiene practices.
