In the fist few weeks baby sleeps for almost 20 to 22 hours. Slowly by 1month they wake up more often . Wake up baby after 3 hours as prolonged interval between feeds will reduce their blood and brain glucose levels.
Next Steps
Tickle your baby’s feet or stroke behind his/ her ear . They will wake up .
Health Tips
In few weeks breasts will adjust to the amount of milk the baby needs . This overflowing will reduce as baby will start sucking more milk as he/ she grows in size. Just collect the expressed breast milk and keep in refrigerator and feed baby after bringing it room temperature whenever needed

Feed 3 hrly, newborns usually sleep for long hrs....just wake him up and feed for atleast 10-15 mins at one time....if milk is overflowing u shd express milk and feed ur baby with spoon or throw away, otherwise it may cause breast engorgement n sometimes abscess
