Hi there, A detailed history is always needed to come to a diagnosis and management accordingly. It’s not clear by your 2 liners, for how long you have this pattern of sleep?Sleep disorders can be primary sleep disorders or the secondary sleep disorders. As the name suggests, secondary means secondary to a mental disorders, medical, drugs intake etc or primary which are not secondary.
Next Steps
There is a need to go for some tests like Polsomnography and other medical tests to be done. Detailed history and mental status examination are needed. However “Sleep hygiene “ should also be maintained. Don’t take Stimulants like tea and coffee preferably about 3-4 hrs prior to sleep, Take meals before 2hrs of sleep time. Go to bed only when sleepy. Go for Yoga relaxation exercises. Regular exercises. Relaxing sounds at bed time etc
Health Tips
Take the help of a mental health professional as the treatment is required according to the diagnosis.
