Sleep disorder seen in my mother

I have been noticing that my mother aged 63 years off lately has been experiencing disturbed sleep pattern which usually is manifested as shouting, shreiking , unexplainable violent body movements.She had a fall from the bed too a couple of weeks back .Intially i assumed you to be due to lack of mental peace and family problems.
