Sleep anxiety ruining my life It started with one bad nights sleep yesterday when I was trying to sleep.

Sleep = relaxed mind & body state. If you are worrisome or anxious at bedtime, then your mind isn't relaxed, so you are less likely to get sound sleep. Our mind & body are connected. So try to relax yourselves by trying breathing techniques. In a comfortable position, breathe deeply ; then breathe out slowly making your out-breathe longer than your in- breathe till you feel relaxed.
