Skin tag like mass next to anus
Hello Doc,
About 5 days back I found a red/pink skin tag like structure right next to the anus opening area. It doesn't normally hurt but when I try to wash it or inspect it, it does. So this thing does have some receptors.
I think it grew overnight, or maybe in a matter of a day, I'm not too sure. I keep my private parts clean and use water as well as napkins to wipe it down, so I'm guessing its not a hygiene issue.
Prior to discovering this lump, I had my periods and I'm wondering if the pads I use might have something to do with it.
Please could you give me an idea about what this might be? What caused it and how I can get rid of it? Medicines or best practices for hygiene?

You need to provide few more details about your diet, routine activities and also about the swelling to come to a diagnosis.
But you may try Sitz bath which can give you some relief.
And include food containing dietary fibres
