I was having itching problem in my lower parts back 1.5 years. For that I used the prescribed lotions & soap by doctor and that worked and itching was gone. But after 1-2 month I started seeing some small scars in my thighs but from last 6 months they are kinda growing big. Those scars almost covered the thighs. They are like white color straight line in both the thighs. And they are only in thighs not above or below part of it.
Please prescribed soon and let me know should I go and consult to a doctor soon? Is this a serious problem or it will be fine after some medicines.

You may be suffering from tinea cruris which is fungal infection of the inner thighs and genital area. It can be treated by taking four to six weeks of anti fungal treatment which includes tablets along with creams. Do not use soap over that area. Mistreatment with over the counter Steroid containing creams lead to repeated case of recurrence and also side effects due to application. Do not use steroid containing combination creams.
