Skin problem
I have severe itching on my buttocks at times. The whole area has become red. This thing is continuing increasing and has been since 4 - 5 months now. Tried using itch guard and other creams, but didn't work. It's not rash. Uneven skin and also small red patches of wounds are there. Also the skin colour has turned darker in the whole affected area.

Fungal infection is becoming an increasing problem due to rampant usage of antifungals. Please see a dermatologist as some extra medications are coprescribed many a times to treat. If needed a simple skin test can also be done. Till then use only OTC anti-allergic medications to control itching. Personal hygiene should be good. Wear loose fitting clothes.
