Our 6 weeks old baby girl has not pooped in over 40 hours. She is completely breastfed. We do give few drops of Woodwards Gripewater daily for ease of burping. She is urinating normally around 10 to 12 times in 24 hours. Her activities are normal. Mild traces of poop is there but not the quantity she used to go few days back. What should we do to make her poop?

Hi Mam... Poop in newborns is highly variable.. Some poop once in several days and some poop several times a day... If baby is normal then nothing to worry... Avoid any medicine to make the baby poop... Just continue breastfeeding..
