Side effects of omnacortil syrup 5mg
My son was having frequent allergic cough n cold and was advised omnicortil syrup 2 times daily for 3 days and after that he started respistrong sachets, after steriod course finished, his motions have increased after drinking respistrong for 2 days, and he is quite sleepy now a days, this never happened, any of the two medicine caused any side effect?

Short course steroid less than 5 days doesn’t not cause side effects, in allergic conditions, sachet can be given for 3 days, it will help in motions,
Increased frequency of motions can be due to post viral infections

Neither of the two medications increases the gut motility (motions). Other than these are you giving any other medications like cetrizine/ cpm? If so that may cause sleepiness.
