Omnacortil soln 5ml
My son is having 3 years 4 months and having cough from last 4 days. He was having fever for 2 days but no fever from last 48 hrs Omnacortil syrup given with azi and other syrup. Pls advice if Omnacortil is safe to use for 5 days twice a day 6 ml? Given by pediatrician

Hello In my opinion better consult same pediatrician normal I use steroids rarely for any suspicion allergic cause without fever . Vanajaas Vatsalya child care clinic @Tirupati

sorry. i don't use steroids. I would not give steroid for minor problem. Now for how many days you have given ?

Yes. It's safe to give at this dose for 5 days. But if given longer than 5 days, it has to be adjusted. Always mention weight. Assuming weight to be around 12 to 14 kg.
