If you are suffering from Sickle cell disease and taking only Foilic acid tablet that means your sickle cell disease is not severe. When you have sickle cell crisis , you must consult your treating Physician. Firstly he should confirm that it is sickle cell crisis. Secondly you should take plenty of fluids, be in a relatively warm environment (put off the AC, wear some warm clothes, use heating pad for the area which is paining , take deep breathing, take Tab Paracetamol). More than that I can't recommend any medicine which can be taken without medical supervision.

During painful crisis : 1. Take rest. 2. Keep your self hydrated. Drink plenty of water and ORS. 3. Can use analgesics like paracetamol or NSAID. In severe crisis you will need hospitalisation. Go meet your treating physician there are other drugs which can be used in crisis but only under medical supervision.
