Blood smear report
Hi, My doc sugested a peripheral blood smear test to check for sickle cell disease. Attached is a copy of the report. Can someone explain this & if the results indicate sickle cell disease.

Hi there... I understand your concern and feeling towards your health...your peripheral smear is not suggestive of sickle cell anemia...The RBC's here have stacked together in long chains. This is known as "rouleaux formation" and it happens with increased serum proteins, particularly fibrinogen and globulins....Consult your physician with reports they will do the needful.
