Shoulder Pain
My Mother is suffering from shoulde pain from last 3 months now.
She has taken the physiotherapy session also for more than 10 days, but no improvement in the pain.
As consulted by doctor, currently we are giving her: Necuxia,Ultraset slim,and Gabapim NT
Any suggestions?

-Control Hypertension, Diabetes or metabolic disorder, if there is any.
-Any way it may be tried,
--. Dolokind Plus (Mankind) [Aceclofenac100 mg +Paracetamol 350 mg] 1 tab. OD & SOS. X 5 days.
--. Caldikind plus (Mankind) 1 tab OD x 10 days.
-(You may need help of your local doctor to get these medicines.)
--. Fomentation with warm water. Let the part not be exposed to cold.
--. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding.
--. Use no pillow under the head.
--. Avoid painful acts & activities.
-- .Do mild exercises for the affected part-ie.neck and shoulders .

Your mother's Age?
Did she have an injury or a fall? If not, how did it begin?
Any other medical problems?
Side of shoulder pain?
Is she a right handed person or a left handed?
Her occupation?
Can she manage any overhead activities at home?
Is her sleep disturbed by pain in the night?
Did she have neck pain on and off in the past?
Any other joint problems?

It could be tendinitis, cuff arthropathy or frozen shoulder..may need to evaluate her clinically and radiologically...can visit at my clinic for examination and proper diagnosis and management

Rule out history of trauma, Get an xray of the shoulder - ap view along with her sugar levels , uric acid levels ,ra factor, crp level.
Kindly mention if she has other comorbidity or history of rheumatoid arthritis.
