Hi, actually I have been suffering from shoulder fracture since 15 days. As per doctor's advice I went again for xray today. Can you please see if there's any improvement or no. Thanks

Two weeks is too early to see any  change in xrays. -continue with arm sling & supportive therapy for 6 wks. - physiotherapy there after.

Ur fracture will heal in about a month...post that u will need to do physiotherapy and if u feel pain with joint movements after that then u will need to do an MRI as the fracture location is at the insertion of supraspinatus tendon..

15 days is too early to see significant changes on the x-ray compared to the previous one. The fractured bone fragment remains in the correct position.
Next Steps
You should continue to immobilise and rest the shoulder by using an arm pouch/sling/immobiliser. You can do the shoulder x-ray again after 3 weeks to check whether it is still in the correct position. To see the fracture having joined it will take atleast 1 more month.

Hi... There is fracture at the greater tuberosity - at the upper end of your arm bone.... but it's maintaining its position.... can be managed without surgery.... need to repeat x ray after 10 days.... regular pain medications like paracetamol and icepacks should be enough.... Need to put a Shoulder Immobilizer Regards Dr Pradeep A Ramesh

No fracture improvement is seen in just 15 days. But yes fracture seems to be in good position and will unite properly
Next Steps
