Shortness of breath
My father is a Parkinson's patient. When he sleeps and stands his breathing like shortness of breath.( with whistling sound)But that time spo2 showed 97-98.He is taking seroflo rotahaler twice daily and nebulize duoline once daily. Please kindly tell me what treatment will be best for him.

Need to check his inhaler technique . Better to shift to nebuliser if his inhalation technique is poor . Once stabilised can put him on inhalers with appropriate dosage . Needs evaluation

Hello, the medicine used should be revised as he still has wheezing. Please consult a Pulmonologist at earliest for revision of medicine.

It appears that, the present treatment is not sufficient. Pl consult pulmonologist with detailed history and reports and treatment taken for better evaluation and treatment.

Patient needs nebulization thrice a day if saba+sama used and also ICS should be used twice a day,if wheezing,i.e. allergic symptoms present,he may also be suffering from other ailments as well , symptoms may beasked due to Parkinson's, please consult for detailed evaluation

not a proper way of nebulisation being done..also considering his Parkinson's i don't think rotacaps is apt for him..kindly consult
