Shortness of breath
Does Costochondritis causes shortness of breath ?i have pain near the ribs while inhaling and and I'm short of breath after climbing stairs showed it to cardiac all the reports are normal and has referred me to a orthopaedist which is better I go to a pulmonologist or orthopaedic?

Costochondritis per say is not associated with any shortness of breath which needs further evaluation, for which , of course you should consult ( physical / teleconsultation) pulmonologist

Both are different issues Costochondritis is not associated with shorgness of breath To rule out the cause Go for chesy xray and pulmonary function test to rule out the pattern of your airway Get consult with pulmonologist
