Hello on left side is decending colon ,if she don't have any H/o intercourse, nothing to worry,take tab zenflox oz one tab twice a day for 3 days,if no relief you should meet a doctor personally.

Pain in upper abdomen or lower abdomen.
I think you should get Sonography for the whole Abdomen done. It will give more comprehensive information than asking you questions about location of the pain and all that.
