Sharp pain and bleeding passing stool
There's a small lump outside the anal area probably a haemorrhoid which never caused any problem. History of constipation. Few days back passed hard stool, had applied a lot of pressure as I was constipated. Fresh blood came out along with a sharp pinchy pain while I was passing stool. Toilet had fresh blood. After that there was inside the anus for a few hours. The next day I had softer stool and there was not fresh blood. Only a tiny spot of red on my poop. I felt a little pain while poop was coming out but then it was okay after that. I was constipated again after 3 days and the same thing happened, sharp pain hard stool and fresh red blood came out. The lump in the anus also swelled up and pain inside the anus. Shall I start taking sitz bath and stool softeners? Because homemade food is not available and we are not allowed to cook in hostel. What can be done? Kindly help and thank you.
