I have done professional scaling 3days before..and doc asked me to use gum paint...I keep it on my mouth only for 5minutes den I rinse it....but the problem is I have pain in that area that I can't even localise it...and it relieves after sometime by itself.shud I stop this r wot shud i do

Mild sensitivity is normal to occur after scaling procedure for about 7-15days that wears off gradually. And if the pain u feel is due to gum paint you can definitely avoid its use.and you need not require any alternative ..
