Shall we keep bedsores open to dry up?
Shall we keep bedsores open for drying up or cover them? Does it need moisture for healing or drying up would help in the healing? If I cover it up the sore is getting more sticky and the skin in sticking to the bandage with all the blood and pus coming out. Please advise. Is powder good for bedsores or ointment? Also which is the best ointment to apply that can help in healing faster? Plz advise. My father is a cancer patient and is bedridden with incontinence. He has got the bedsores since last 10 days. We are cleaning them with saline water and using air mattress with alternating pressure.
