Sgot and sgpt is high
My son got dengue ten days ago, his sgot is 282 and sgpt 278, platelets are 1.8 lakhs and hb 14, is there anything to worry about

Altered liver function tests are common in viral fever. It will settle down on its own in 2 to 3 weeks . Repeat lft every week until it normalises . Taking liver supportive medicines like liv 52 or liverlil forte might help . Avoid liver toxic substances like alcohol. Hepatitis b and hep c has to be ruled out if the altered LFT persists
