Hi Sir,
I and wife had sexual intercourse without having any protection. We dont want a baby now but she has her period over at that time but still we are deeply concerned if it might have any chance.
Its already been 48 hrs over but we havent taken any pills so could you please confirm or let us know any prevention technique.

Hello, Ovulation happens before the bleeding from a girl's period hasstopped. Ovulation happens within a few days after a girl's period is over. Sperm can fertilize an egg for 3 days. So if a girl has sex on the last day of her period and ovulates in the next few days, the sperm may still fertilize the egg
But there is 90% chance is that you are safe

If you have had sex just after the end of the periods, it is very unlikely she will get pregnant since is is safe period. However you can take ipill within 72 hrs to prevent possible pregnancy.
