Severe pain above abdomen below chest
83 yrs old. was operated for gall bladder 2 yrs ago. For last two months, I am having frequent severe pain in the upper side of abdomen and below the chest at a specific position. It is very severe which almost kills me. Got ultrasound and MRI done. Reports are normal. Doctors speculate it to be gas related problem and so they have prescribed aceloc. I am diabetec and take insulin and glynase to control blood sugar. I have become very week due to this pain. The pain starts anytime and it is unbearable. Please help me.

I understand your concern. If Mri and usg are normal then it seems theres no issue. But for the safe side get these three tests done and revert me back - 1. Serum lipase. 2. Serum amylase. 3. Sugar - fasting & PP And cont. These medications as - 1. Tab Rantac 150mg two times a day. 2. Tab Buscopan 10mg when you feel pain. 3. Drink plenty of fluids and diet rich in fibers. 4. Sugar monitoring.
