Severe headache issue. What should i do?

Hi my name is hema. I suffer from severe headache every now and then. And my doctor once told me that it may be a case of migraine, as the pain doesn't go away away easily even after taking medicine. And I think she is right.i have headache frm past few days.,it's been 3,4 days and it was on the right side of the head. I took medicine day before yesterday as it wasn't getting cured. So I got rid of pain in right side. But next morning it starting paining again in the left side of head. I thought to take rest but didn't get any benefit. I just took medicine once again. So this is what happens usually that pain doesn't go even after taking medicine or taking rest. And pain shifts from right to left or left yo right side. What should I do?
