Severe dry Cough
My father got fever for 2days and Mouth ulcers formed . Due to that he hasn't ate anything for 10days. Later mouth ulcers and redness in mouth was cured but he became very weak unable to hold a syrup cup. Now from 2days he is having dry cough very frequently especially after 7pm. He is taking Benedryl cough syrup .But no use What to do?

There are chances he has developed lrti or aspiration pneumonia is also possible, please consult for detailed evaluation so that he can be cured and feel relieved
