Severe depression
I got diagnosed with depression about a month and a half ago and was put onto citralopram in 20mg doses. As of 21 October 2017 it seems to have gotten worse where I am currently wanting to self harm with a kitchen knife. I have self harmed with a pencil sharpener blade. But this is worse. I am also facing a move to my parents house up in norfolk. I have also taken several online mental health tests and all of them have come back as severe depression.

Hello If there is no improvement even after taking citalopram for over a month, then you shall discuss with your treating psychiatrist regarding changing the meds. Urgent action need to be taken. Share your feelings with family or close friends talk with them as sharing helps a lot. Meditation daily for at least half an hour in the morning helps you relax and eases your anxiety. Remember every problem has a solution you just need to try solving it and the help is just a step away.
