Serum Electrophoresis
Why is fetus father is asked for serum electrophoresis ? Is it because that parents are suffering from some form malignancy like sickle cell or myeloma and the traces of it is shown in Fetus ?

Sickle cell anaemia is not a malignancy. Electrophoresis is done to see the traits of Thalassemia (which is also not a malignancy).
