Serum CPK 313U/L
My dad is 70 years old. He underwent CABG one year back.. he is taking rosuvastatin 20 mg, clopilet A 75, betagard50, sugar tablets.. he underwent blood test yesterday.. all his tests were normal, except serum CPK.. He is active and normal.. is this CPK a cause for worry? kindly advise.. any other test to be done..

Serum CPK may increase due to a medicine he is taking . If no symptoms of muscle pain or fatigue you may wait and watch. Remember to consult about this on your next visit.
