Serum amaylse
This is my serum amalyse report! Since 1 week a dull pain in lower abdomen which is spread all around! The Pain get some relief when I passed gas. I also don't feel much appetite. My s. Amalyse is borderline! Does it indicate some serious trouble in pancreas or it is mild issue which can get better with low fat diet. Please note that I have been consuming fatting and greasy food since the past one week despite the pain as I thought it is nothing serious but today I am really worried since pancreatic problems r dangerous

You haven't mentioned your exact serum amylase numbers
Serum amylase is important if the levels are 3 times more than normal range (60-120Somogyi units/dL )
Serum amylase is not specific marker for pancreatitis
Serum lipase is more specific marker for pancreatitis
